The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Express Frustration About Size Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has altered its size classifications for women's and children's garments failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category than originally posted because of the remapping.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to check their listings and manually change the size where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Modifications
Earlier, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she said.
Required Changes
A different user, located in England, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she said.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options due to shopper criticism.
